Don't be fooled by the desciption here! Eagle Point Oregon is NOT where you want to live! The drug problem here, per capita is outrageous! Druggies everywhere, they ransack your cars at night, steal lawn ornaments and anything else they can grab INCLUDING your security lights and cameras! The jail in near by Medford is so packed, they just book and release. There is no repercussions and the criminals know it, so they are all flocking here in droves! Please, please, PLEASE do yourself and your families a favor and heed my warning and no not move here, you will have so many regrets! The schools are a reflection of the lives these children live here. They bully each other and staff does nothing about it. The academics are so far below the national standards, your child will be behind in college. I cant give enough warnings about this whole area in Southern Oregon, not just Eagle Point, it's all if Jackson County! Moving out of this miserable state, that votes to NOT have police! Of course the drug dealers and criminals want to live here, it's like a haven for them!
